Britax Römer

Britax Römer was created in 1978 from the merger of the German manufacturer Römer and the English company Britax. The Ulm-based company Römer was founded in the 1930s and specialised in child safety in the 1970s. Britax was also founded in the 1930s. The company expanded primarily in the 1980s and 1990s into the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia and the Far East. Today, Britax Römer is a globally active company with nine locations worldwide.
