HTC also High Tech Computer Corporation is a manufacturer from Taiwan. Most people know HTC as a smartphone manufacturer. But HTC has brought many more products onto the market. Among them are tablets, action cameras, activity trackers and VR glasses.
The Asian company was founded in 1997 and launched its first Windows CE PDA just one year later. HTC sets itself high goals in the area of usability, but also in terms of working conditions in production facilities and sustainability of the products.
For example, HTC launched the first smartphone on the market that took into account international guidelines on climate and life cycle assessment. The HTC One (M7) was born.
