Osprey is an outdoor gear brand founded in California in 1974. The brand distinguishes itself from others by its long warranty period: Based on the belief that repair is always better and more sustainable than buying new, Osprey strives to repair products whenever possible (even after long use) instead of replacing them. Passion for sport and the environment are also part of the brand's identity. Osprey is the official luggage and backpack supplier of the German Ski Association (DSV) national teaching teams, supporting young athletes and coaches in local clubs. In the field of nature conservation, Osprey supports a bird of prey conservation project of the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) in Georgia: This project is dedicated to ending illegal hunting of birds of prey in the Caucasus.
