Fujifilm launches new Instax Mini 99 instant camera

The new Fujifilm Instax Mini 99 is fully analogue. It offers slightly more design options than previous Instax Mini models.
Fujifilm has announced the Instax Mini 99 for the beginning of April 2024. It is the most advanced model of the instant camera to date. However, the Instax 99 remains easy to use. It's all about fun and less about image quality.
The camera works completely analogue - so a digital image is not exposed on analogue photo paper as with some instant cameras. Two simple dials increase control: one selects a specific colour scheme such as neutral, warm, sepia or the imitation of a light leak. The second dial allows you to select the brightness in five levels.
The camera also offers special programmes for indoor photography, fast movements, double exposure and a bulb mode. The Instax Mini 99 also has a self-timer, an internal flash, a tripod thread and two triggers for portrait and landscape format. The shortest distance that can be focused on is 30 centimetres.
The recommended retail price of the Fujifilm Instax Mini is 179 francs or 200 euros.
