For fans of "League of Legends", Razer is launching a new edition of the "Viper V3 Pro" gaming mouse. Razer has teamed up with the multiple tournament winner "Faker".
If you enjoy playing League of Legends (LoL) and/or following international LoL tournaments, then you may be familiar with the name "Faker". The 28-year-old South Korean, whose real name is Lee Sang-Hyeok, is regarded as the best LoL player in the world. He has been active in the game for more than a decade and has won almost two million US dollars in prize money as a professional player.

The Faker Edition
According to his own statement, Faker used a "Viper V3 Pro" when he won the LoL World Championship for the fifth time with his team "T1" in 2024. Faker's signature is printed on the right button of the red mouse. The back features the design of the "unkillable Demon King". That's what Faker is called by his fans. The mouse is preset with Faker's favourite DPI setting - 1800 DPI.
Features of the "Viper V3 Pro"
According to the manufacturer, the "Viper V3 Pro" is "one of the lightest ergonomic e-sports mice on the market". It weighs 54 grams without charging cable and adapter. Normal office mice are somewhat heavier at 80 to 120 grams. The optical sensor is designed to capture your mouse movements on various surfaces, including glass, without errors.
The scope of delivery includes a wireless dongle that you connect to your computer. This enables the "Viper V3 Pro" to achieve a sampling rate of up to 8000 hertz. The mouse therefore sends its position to the computer 8000 times per second.
According to the manufacturer, the battery lasts up to 17 hours at this high sampling rate. However, you can also select lower rates of 4000, 2000 and 1000 Hertz. At 1000 Hertz, a battery life of up to 95 hours is possible. The mouse recharges via USB-C.
The mouse has a maximum sensitivity of 35,000 DPI.
