The powerful 750 Watt laboratory power supply with only 1U which can be stacked directly on top of each other, i.e. does not need any air slot at the top or bottom and thus actually gets by with 1U.
Output voltages of 0 - 30 V/DC and output currents of 0 - 25 A can be set directly on the device or remotely via the built-in RS232/RS485 interface. But also via analog inputs all important functions can be programmed (control voltage 0-5V, 0-10V, control current 4-20 mA or via external resistor for digital control e.g. via LabView and LabWindows corresponding drivers are available). High-resolution 16-bit A/D and D/A converters allow very precise adjustment and programming the knobs on the instrument can be switched between coarse and fine adjustment.
A dual digital display shows the current values as well as various status information (e.g. Over Voltage Protection, Under Voltage Limit, Overload Mode, Address Settings), and a monitor output provides corresponding analog voltages (0-5V or 0-10V) for external monitoring. Of course, the unit can operate as both a constant voltage and constant current source - and automatically switches between these modes as needed. Several units can be connected in series or parallel. The GEN/H type has half the design of 19" racks.
