Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus

The Plus is not a speed miracle either. But it can do (almost) everything better than the previous Fire 10 models. The battery life is longer, the RAM is larger and the tablet can be charged wirelessly. This is well worth the 30 euro surcharge for the Plus compared to the Fire HD 10.

The HD 10 is no high-flyer, and the 10-inch display is not particularly brilliant either. But the Amazon is a decent tablet with a long battery life (11.5 hours) that didn't make any major mistakes in the test - perfect for people on a tight budget who are looking for an affordable device for surfing and shopping.

The everyday test over several weeks shows what the tablet can do. The Fire HD 10 (Plus) is significantly faster than the current Fire HD 8 (Plus). This is where the combination of a stronger chipset, 64-bit architecture and more memory comes into its own. The extra performance is not accompanied by less battery life...
