Product details
More Wi-Fi range for all connected devices. Innovative Wi-Fi 6 is designed for a demanding home network with a variety of Wi-Fi devices. Support for 160 MHz wide channels for ultra-fast Wi-Fi speeds of up to 3,000 MBit/s (Wi-Fi AX). Two radio units enable ultra-fast transmissions in the 5 GHz band (up to 2,400 MBit/s) and maximum range in the 2.4 GHz band (up to 600 MBit/s). Ideal for very high demands, such as simultaneous 4K streaming, in a home network with a fast internet connection and multiple Wi-Fi devices used at the same time. Wi-Fi Mesh: Multiple Wi-Fi access points are combined into a single intelligent Wi-Fi network with optimal performance. Intelligent automatic band selection (Cross-Band Repeating) and automatic adoption of existing Wi-Fi encryption. Ultra-fast Gigabit LAN port for establishing a LAN bridge or for network devices without Wi-Fi capability. Support for the latest WPA3 security standard and encrypted connections in public Wi-Fi hotspots. Easy and secure installation at the push of a button. Support for Wi-Fi guest access. Determining the optimal placement through LED indicators of connection quality or using the app. Wi-Fi energy savings through night mode and ECO mode. Compact design, no larger than a power outlet.

- High speed at 5 gigahertz
- Supports 160 MHz channels
- Compact design
- Simple operation
- Average speed in the 2.4 GHz band
- Socket is occupied, no feed-through
The Fritz Repeater 1200 AX is the first choice if you want to expand your Wi-Fi 6 network. It delivers practical data rates and a significant speed advantage over an 11ac WLAN. Further plus points are the simple operation - primarily in a mesh network with a Fritzbox - as well as the regular firmware updates.
Large households with a FritzBox make a safe choice with the FritzRepeater 6000. For most, however, the performance of the FritzRepeater 1200 AX should be sufficient. Speedport users are in the right place with Telekom's Speed Home WLAN. And if you have set up a Devolo network of Magic Powerline adapters, the Devolo WiFi 6 Repeater 5400 is the best choice.
- High speed at 5 GHz
- WLAN at 2
- 4 GHz only solid
- Only one LAN socket
The FritzRepeater 1200 AX is the recommendation for all FritzBox owners for whom the top models FritzRepeater 3000 AX and 6000 are too expensive. The small plug scored points in the tested with a surprisingly high performance.

- Supports 160 MHz channels

The Fritz Repeater 1200AX is the first choice if you want to expand your Wi-Fi 6 network. It delivers practical data rates and a clear speed advantage over an 11ac WLAN. Other plus points are the simple operation - especially in a mesh network with a Fritzbox - and the regular firmware updates.
In repeater mode at the 20-metre point, it delivered satisfactory to good WLAN throughput with reasonably low power consumption from the mains (see table, client at 26 metres). If it is connected to the router as an access point via LAN cable, the speed increases dramatically. If you want to expand your Wi-Fi 6 WLAN, you can't go wrong with the 1200 AX.

If you don't need a third WLAN module for a stronger wireless connection, you can do without the more expensive FRITZ!Repeater 6000 and do very well with the cheaper 1200AX.
