Product details
The Inkjet All-in-One MFC-J5730DW meets all the requirements that small offices, small workgroups and medium-sized companies place on a modern multifunctional device. The innovative all-rounder scans, copies and faxes in A4 and also delivers prints in A3 format at a print speed of up to 22 ipm. The first printed/copied page is already in the output tray after just 6 seconds - in impressive print quality: Pigment-based ink delivers pin-sharp prints that dry faster and fade more slowly, in B/W and colour. But the all-rounder for the small office is not only a sprinter, but also an excellent endurance runner. A 250-sheet paper tray, a 100-sheet multifunction tray and an additional 250-sheet lower tray make it ideal for large print jobs. The MFC-J5730DW also offers great convenience in terms of operability. This is done intuitively "by finger wipe" from its own 9.3 cm LCD touch screen or that of a mobile device. The all-rounder is only small in terms of purchase and consumption: double-sided scanning, copying and printing as well as separate high-yield cartridges guarantee consistently low costs.

One manufacturer, two test winners: Among the multifunction devices with a price of less than 120 euros, the Canon Pixma TR8550 won thanks to its high print quality, moderate printing costs and strong features including memory card reader, Bluetooth and fax. Among the test candidates with a retail price of 200 euros or less, the Canon Pixma TS9550 was the winner...
With two paper trays (250 sheets of plain paper each) and printing or copying to A3 format, Brother's inkjet multifunctional offers plenty of output options. The duplex printing and duplex scanning options also contribute to this. The option of using large XL ink cartridges at a fair price keeps ink costs low...
- A3 printing
- many paper feeders
- Transport marks on photo paper
- poor photoscans
The expansive A3 printer needs space. Both trays can be pulled out for A3 paper, and the rear feed also accepts A3 media. However, the duplexer only turns sheets up to A4, and the scanner can only digitise documents up to A4. The scanner flap can be raised by 2.4 cm on its hinges - practical for scanning thick books...
