Product details

Thanks to the large 18.0-megapixel APS-C sensor, you can capture extremely detailed images. Print your photos in sizes up to A2 or choose creative cropping options with impressive image quality.

Naturally looking shots in low light: You can take pictures with a natural atmosphere, even as the light fades. The wide ISO range from ISO 100 to 6400 (expandable to 12,800) reduces the need for a flash, preserving the natural mood of your special moments.

Attractive background blur: Capture stunning portraits where your subject stands out against an appealing background blur – this depth of field control is typical of DSLR photography.

Top-notch details and colors: The Digic 4+ processor enables you to capture details, colors, and contrast just as you remember them.

Simple or fully customizable: Let the automatic scene detection do the work and take excellent photos without worrying about settings; or if you're more advanced, get creative by manually adjusting the camera settings yourself.
