It's not a true action camera, but it's fast enough and at the same time so high-resolution that it can cover everything from sports to portraits to landscape without much compromise. The extremely light-sensitive autofocus, sealing and high ISO values also make it an ideal companion for reportage - meanwhile at a more moderate price.
The four unequal sisters leave a good impression throughout. Even the comparatively inexpensive EOS 6D MK II has a high-quality body, a fast and reliable autofocus and a rotating monitor. In terms of image quality, it lags a little behind the higher-resolution models, but that's complaining at a very high level...
