With the EOS R10, Canon offers a simpler and more affordable model within its new line of APS-C mirrorless cameras with RF bayonet. The equipment and the very good image quality are sufficient for amateur photographers, but those who attach greater importance to lush video functions should take a closer look at the EOS R7 within the system...

With a price range from 890 to 8000 euros, there should be something to suit almost every budget. High-resolution medium and full-frame cameras offer top performance in terms of image quality. Robust, fast and excellently equipped cameras can also be found in the APS-C and MFT range...
Just like Nikon, Canon also draws on decades of experience with professional cameras. The R10 follows the design and to some extent the operation of Canon's "big ones". For our tester with medium-sized male hands, the R10 has the best and most secure grip of all the test cameras...
The complete switch by manufacturers from DSLRs to mirrorless system cameras means that the housings of current cameras have also shrunk significantly compared to the past. This is logical, as manufacturers no longer have to accommodate bulky mirror boxes in their housings. Compared to the APS-C competition, the Canon performs well. The camera is also well equipped in terms of functions and inherits many solutions from its expensive R siblings - such as AF functions...
