What is Instant Ink?
When you need ink, your printer automatically orders more ink from HP. The ink supply arrives before your old ink runs out.

How does it work?
You have an Instant Ink compatible HP printer. Register your printer, and you will receive a confirmation email about your successful registration. Billing and service start only after you have installed your first HP Instant Ink cartridge. When your ink supply is running low, your printer will timely request a refill. You can cancel at any time.

Some HP printers are designed for use only with cartridges that have new or reused chips or electronic circuits from HP. These printers use dynamic security measures to block cartridges with a non-HP chip or a non-HP electronic circuit. Regular firmware updates maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked.
