The Intel Core desktop processors of the 13th generation, known as Raptor Lake, feature a chip layout with various CPU cores for different application scenarios. The Performance Cores deliver high performance for compute-intensive applications, while the Efficiency Cores provide energy efficiency under low load. The Raptor Lake processors support PCIe Gen 5.0 and 4.0 as well as DDR5 and DDR4. The processor is compatible with motherboards based on the Intel 700 and 600 chipsets.
