The E-DAT module coupler from Metz Connect is a highly developed RJ45 cable coupler designed for use in network infrastructures. It meets the requirements of Class EA according to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173-1, making it suitable for 10GBit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an). This fully shielded 90° coupler made of zinc die-cast offers a robust and durable solution for connecting network cables. It is particularly advantageous for consolidation points and cross-connect cabling, where reliable and efficient signal transmission is required. The coupler also supports remote powering (PoE, PoE plus, and UPoE) as well as HDBaseT, making it a versatile choice for modern network applications. With two mounting forms in one coupler, it is suitable for both module and keystone applications, facilitating installation and integration into existing systems.
