Für prächtige Farb- und Nahaufnahmen. Kamera mit LCD-Sucher. Gute Bildqualität. Sehr gute Bilder bei wenig Licht. Wirksamer Verwacklungsschutz. Klappmonitor mit guter Qualität.

Auf den ersten Blick überzeugt die Nikon Coolpix P100 als Bridgekamera mit umfangreicher Ausstattung, doch auf den zweiten Blick trüben zu viele störende Kleinigkeiten den Gesamteindruck. So fehlt ein eigenes Menü zur schnellen Veränderungen der Belichtungseinstellungen und die Bildqualität hebt sich nicht von Kompaktkameras ab. Ein großer Zoom alleine macht noch keine gute Kamera.
…Die Aufnahmen der P100 sind zwar ebenfalls zu den Rändern hin etwas unscharf, aber weit weniger als die Samsung. Leichte Farbverfälschung zeigt auch die Nikon, der Kontrastumfang ist gut…

…Dass Nikon auf dem winzigen Sensor „nur“ 10,3 Megapixel unterbringt, wirkt sich beim Einsatz höherer Empfindlichkeiten positiv auf die Bildqualität aus. Die Nikon ist ein gelungenes Rundumpaket und belegt daher verdient den zweiten Platz.
