The PocketBook Basic Lux 2 is the perfect introduction to the world of e-reading. Thanks to the sophisticated product design, the PocketBook Basic Lux 2 is particularly light and compact in size.
The e-reader is equipped with an e-ink carta screen with HD resolution (758 × 1024), which provides safety and comfort for the eyes even when reading for hours. With the LED front backlighting, e-books can be enjoyed on the device even in poor lighting conditions. The PocketBook Basic Lux 2 embodies lightness and simplicity in every respect. The front-mounted control element and ergonomic scroll buttons allow quick navigation and smooth page turning. The intuitive user interface makes changing settings and library management quick and easy. Thanks to WLAN, Dropbox connection and Send-to-PocketBook service, e-books are sent to the PocketBook Basic Lux 2 quickly and easily without the need for a PC connection. With the e-reader, readers always have their personal library at hand and can choose between up to 3000 e-books that can be stored on the device. The PocketBook Basic Lux 2 has an internal memory of 8 GB, which can be expanded by up to 32 GB using a microSD card. With support for 17 book formats and 4 image formats, the PocketBook Basic Lux 2 gives the user the greatest freedom in the choice of content and eliminates the need for cumbersome conversions. The pre-installed dictionaries are indispensable for reading foreign language texts. Thanks to the cover sensor, the e-reader automatically switches to sleep mode. This saves battery consumption. A prerequisite for this is that the e-reader is inserted in a suitable PocketBook cover.
