Hello SwissCrow, your problem sounds exciting. Are you sure that the crackling is coming from the cushions? I have the Cloud II headphones but the construction is identical and I've already used both ear pads and can't hear anything. Have you already changed or refitted them? If it's not at the beginning, it will be something to do with heating, but doubt it's the pads. Greetings

The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless battery lasts up to 300 hours. You can connect it to the PS4 as it is compatible with PlayStation consoles. The connection is made via a USB-A wireless RF dongle, which cannot be connected directly to the PS4 if it is not connected to a PC or docking station. The PS4 can be connected via the dongle if the console is connected to a PC or docking station that supports the dongle.

The headphones currently cost CHF 137 at Digitec. In general, however, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, especially in international comparison. We always try to set a price that is in line with the market, but this is not possible for all products.

The price changes do not necessarily only have something to do with the supplier. If you are interested, you can find more detailed information on the following link: https://www.digitec.ch/de/wiki/6028

We work with different suppliers and daily prices. In this case, it was probably a supplier with a low purchase price. As soon as this supplier can no longer supply the item and it switches internally to the next cheapest supplier, these jumps in the sales price can occur. For this reason, a price can adjust upwards or downwards on a daily basis.

I invite you to contact the customer service for this, a solution will be found as soon as possible. Thank you in advance :) https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/fr/requests/new

This headset is equipped with a jack plug. As long as your phone has one or an adapter, it is quite possible to do this. With both headsets it is possible to do this, only the HyperX Cloud Alpha pro has the "remote" on the jack. The Cloud II's is on USB.

These headphones are stereo, they don't have 7.1. Having tested both, I honestly don't think the 5.1/7.1 is worth it, let alone on a headset. It doesn't make much difference in my opinion. In addition, surround compatible headphones are more expensive and often lose in sound quality compared to stereo headphones like this one, but which offer excellent clarity and sound quality, despite only being right-to-left spatialized.

From my point of view, the sound quality is just as good as the Razer Kraken Ultimate. I also find the cushions of the Hyper X Cloud Alpha Pro a little more comfortable because they are a little softer. With the microphone, I had the problem that sounds that are output as microphone input are quietly audible. In various forums I have found that some others have the same problem, which seems to be a software or driver problem that can be fixed.
