Out of the box image quality is as good as it gets.
But fingerprints are very hard to remove and very visible in reflection. Cleaning liquid must be very pure. Many liquids for regular LCD's will leave nasty residue. At the end I am using wet+dry cleaning pads for precision optics, which is probably quite expensive in the long term.
I have to emphasize, never eat near this monitor ) If tiny pieces of soup gets on the monitor - you'll get +30 minutes of cleaning :-)
Still, Image quality is worth all the trouble! You can't see edge of the monitor at darkness. It is surreal.

I came across a website called ‘rthings,’ which specializes in screen comparisons. The analyses are incredibly detailed, covering various aspects such as response time, color accuracy, brightness, pixel quality, and more. I used this site to compare my screen against the top 20 models of 2024/2025, and the results were impressive: my screen ranked second, just behind the Asus ROG 480Hz 1440p model, which costs approximately 400 CHF more.
I can confidently say that this is the second-best monitor in the 1440p category as of early 2025. Moreover, thanks to its more affordable price compared to the top model, it hits the perfect balance between quality and value. For this reason, I strongly recommend buying it without hesitation
According to the RTINGS test platform, the AORUS FO27Q3 is currently the best and most affordable OLED monitor in the 27-inch 1440p class. Compared to other OLED monitors, such as the Alienware AW2725DF, the Gigabyte monitor cuts a better figure in practically all aspects. It has no internal fan, offers HDMI 2.1, KVM switch (mouse and keyboard support) and full USB-C support (Alt Mode, 18 watts, upstream), and the monitor also has speakers. With a rock-bottom price of 562 Fr. you simply can't go wrong here.
My subjective impression: The general picture quality of an OLED monitor far surpasses the aspects of a high refresh rate or high resolution, there really is a difference to be seen here. With an IPS second monitor for office work, burn-in is also no longer a topic.

I'm absolutely delighted with the monitor and have had a few gaming monitors in the past. For me, the OLED upgrade is the biggest leap in the monitor world in years! An absolute recommendation to buy.

I got the monitor on 28 February for 499 and have been using it every day since. I switched from IPS to OLED and the difference is simply incredible. After this switch, I never want to go back to IPS.
The edges are a little thick, but otherwise the monitor is really brilliant.
So if it's worth the money, this monitor should be worth considering :)
