Important note
The USB-A interface (charger or charging plug) which can be seen on some pictures is not included. An inexpensive and low-power variant (from 5 watts) is sufficient. Our store offers various such USB plugs.

Reduce the risk of virus infection
The CO2 gadget is based on Sensirion's reliable and accurate CO2 sensor technology and can reduce the risk of viral infection in classrooms, offices, etc.

What is it about?

• CO2 is emitted by humans when they breathe. The higher the CO2 concentration in the room, the higher the proportion of exhaled air, which is re-inhaled several times and can potentially be contaminated with viruses and bacteria.
• Infections that spread via aerosols and droplets can be contained through better ventilation, or the number of transmissions and new infections can be reduced.
• At higher CO2 levels, the ability to concentrate and general performance also suffers. Too high a concentration of CO2 indoors is often to blame for headaches, dizziness and permanent fatigue.
• The use of CO2 traffic lights promotes regular ventilation but also regulates excessive ventilation so that excessively low temperatures can be avoided in classrooms during the winter months.

Optimal use of the CO2 sensor
The gadget comes already calibrated and only needs to be connected to power via USB-A interface. The measured indoor air quality is indicated by the LED (green, yellow, red) and can be used immediately for CO2 monitoring. Whenever possible, place the gadget at about eye level and not directly next to windows or directly next to people. We recommend forced ventilation at the latest when the display is red. Ventilate the room until the traffic light indicator has returned to green.

Data logger and Bluetooth
As long as the gadget is connected to power, it stores a CO2 value every 5 minutes. The storage space is enough for about a month's worth of CO2 values. With the "MyAmbience CO2 App" from Sensirion, live values as well as stored values can be downloaded from the CO2 gadget and displayed on the smartphone.
