By integrating the PZD (Piezo Drive) ultrasonic motor and VC image stabilization, Tamron not only extends the performance of this all-round lens, but also opens up new possibilities for making photography more convenient, convenient and accessible.

This mega zoom shifts the boundaries of conventional travel zooms in both the wide-angle and telephoto ranges. With a minimum focal length of 16mm (corresponding to an angle of view of 24.8mm in a 35mm image) up to a maximum focal length of 300mm (corresponding to an angle of view of 465mm), this remarkable lens offers a zoom factor of 18.8x. It thus meets the demand of many customers for increased flexibility. The lens design with 16 lenses in 12 groups includes three aspherical, single hybrid aspherical elements, two LD (Low Dispersion) and one XR (Extra Refractive Index) glass elements and a UXR (Ultra-Extra Refractive Index) glass, which has an even higher refractive index than XR glasses.

The proven Tamron VC image stabilizer (Vibration Compensation) ensures sharp and blur-free images in this lens. This means that the long telephoto focal length can also be used perfectly for hand-held shots.

Close-up limit of only 39 cm for macro photography. The new lens offers a close-up limit of 0.39m across the entire zoom range, with a maximum magnification of 1:2.9, making it even easier to bring exciting details close up and set the scene.
