The 20-40mm F2.8 delivers beautiful images throughout the zoom range and is great for photography as well as creating vlogs and other video content. The lens is equipped with Tamron's VXD (Voice-coil-eXDtreme-torque Drive), an AF drive system with a linear motor focusing mechanism. The VXD features superior quietness and agile performance, enabling fast and highly accurate autofocus. With a MOD (Minimum Object Distance) of only 0.17m and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3.8 in the wide-angle range, the lens offers exceptional possibilities for close-up photography and additionally enables macro photography in the wide-angle range.
