Tamron SP 70-300mm F/4-5,6 Di VC USD Nikon F
Nikon F, full sizeProduct details
With its sensational optical performance, the Super Performance High Performance Zoom appeals to a wide range of photo enthusiasts and represents a new generation of lenses that also fully meets the challenges of 24 megapixel full-frame sensors in terms of resolution and illumination of the image field.
SP (Super Performance)
Only two letters - but what a breakthrough in the results. SP stands for Super Performance, the high-performance class from Tamron. Objectives which our engineers were able to design freely and worked uncompromisingly up to the optimum performance characteristics in each case.
Take your camera to new frontiers - give it super performance.
VC Image Stabilization (Vibration Compensation)
The tried-and-tested Tamron VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilizer ensures sharp and shake-free images in this lens.
This means that the lens can be used perfectly even with hand-held shots or in low light conditions.
Outstanding image quality
The optical design of this lens uses a high performance XLD (Extra Low Dispersion) element made of special glass materials with an extremely low color dispersion index. This indicates the ability of the glass to break down a beam of light into its spectral colors.
The dispersion properties are even lower than with standard LD lenses and correspond approximately to the value of fluorites.
The XLD lens in combination with the L D element provides the highest contrast and brilliance. This effectively prevents chromatic aberration, which is problematic in telephotography, and ensures the highest sharpness even at the edges.
The result is a lens that effectively compensates for color aberrations and axial magnification errors throughout the zoom range, ensuring the highest resolution and brilliance of your images.
USD
The Ultrasonic Silent Drive (USD) is Tamron's latest generation of autofocus motors. Thanks to advanced motor technology and newly developed software, the USD provides a fast, accurate and virtually silent photography experience.
There is hardly a better option for fast and dynamic subjects such as those found in sports photography, fast vehicles or nature photography.
