The clever Telekom Speed Home WLAN is very easy to set up and very fast - especially in the 5 gigahertz frequency. At the time of the test, the older WLAN standards were in most cases faster than the newer Wi? 6.
Very large households with a Fritz Box make a safe choice with the Fritz Repeater 6000. For most, the performance of the much cheaper 1200 AX should already be sufficient. Speedport users are at the right address with the provider's Speed Home WLAN. Those who have a lame router can replace its WLAN with the fast mesh network of the Telekom repeater at a reasonable price.

With the two new devices, Telekom is going full speed ahead - with success: The Speed Home WLAN shoots straight to the top of the repeater best list! The Speedport also goes full throttle, but stumbles over missing functions. Those who miss these and can do without "Magenta SmartHome" are better off with the Fritz Box 7590 and a current Fritz Repeater - they also support WLAN mesh together.
