The 40 mm F2.8 Heliar aspherical VM / L* (M39) is a compact and universally applicable lens with a lens configuration of five lenses in three groups, based on the traditional Voigtländer Heliar design. It is available with two mounts: the VM mount and with M39 screw thread (here called Voigtländer L*). A lens hood and a hooded cap are included. Both connection versions are available in black or silver respectively (lens hood and hooded cover only available in black - also for the silver version). Voigtländer L mount has nothing in common with the L mount from Leica, Sigma, Panasonic and Leitz Cine lens!
