It features a plug-and-play design and can save power without sacrificing performance, making it suitable for the price and performance requirements of small businesses.

The Zyxel GS1008HP, compliant with the IEEE 802.3at standard, provides a maximum of 30 W per port (with a total power budget of 60 W) and powers PoE network devices such as Wi-Fi access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones. No additional power supply is needed at the endpoint.

Convenient management of the PoE budget
The Zyxel GS1008HP has a total power budget of 60 W and a handy LED indicator that lights up orange when the threshold of 50 W is reached (PoE MAX). If the power consumption exceeds the budget, the last device will no longer be powered, but this will not affect the other devices receiving power through the switch.
