My stylus is still good, even after almost two years. But I have to admit that I'm not a professional gamer who spends hours a day with it. In my opinion, the quality of the controller is high. But for the high price, it's the least you can expect.

Maybe it has got better in the meantime, but the rubber grips on my first Series 2 started to peel off after about 18 months. Not sticky and not crumbly, the whole thick layer slowly peeled off starting from the seam.
