TP-Link Deco X50-5G Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Router AX3000 (1-pack)
Hello, I am interested in the X50-5G router and the small X50 Deco devices. My question is if I want to use this mesh network do I have to connect e.g. the X50-5G router with the X50 Deco via cable and the X50 Deco then communicate with each other directly? Or can I use the X50-5G router and extend the wifi via the mesh system with an X50 Deco? So the question is if I buy 1 50x-5G and 2 50X Deco whether one of them has to be connected directly to the x50-5G router by cable and I therefore need 1 more if I want 2 free-standing x50 Deco devices. Or if I can expand the X50-5G router wifi directly with the small x50 Deco ? Sorry should not be more complicated than it is >.<

To use a mesh network with the Deco X50-5G and the X50 Deco devices, you do not necessarily have to connect the X50-5G to the X50 Deco devices by cable. Instead, you can use the X50-5G as a central device and connect the X50 Deco devices to it wirelessly to extend the Wi-Fi network. The X50 Deco devices communicate with each other via the mesh network to ensure a seamless connection. So you don't need any additional cable connections between the devices.
