The Ethernet network adapter deactivates itself once or twice a day. Plugging it in and unplugging it from the notebook always solves the problem. Is it possible that there is a driver problem? Windows 10 has a "Realtek USB GbE Family Controller" driver from 2015 installed.
On the i-tec website you can find current driver packages for Windows, Mac and Linux as well as a firmware update. With these drivers, the dock seems to run a bit more stable on Windows. Link: https://i-tec.pro/de...
The dock doesn't work well with our MacBook Pro either. In my opinion, it has to do with the power, the dock may not be able to supply enough.
