Polifon Perverse

In a quaint little town in Switzerland, something amazing happens: barely established, Sabine and Chantal shake up the cultural scene with their association "Polifon Pervers" and a new vision of entertainment. Acting boldly and cleverly, they rise as theater producers to national prominence, gathering an illustrious circle around them: from the vain director Lüssiän to the drunken ghostwriter Iiv, the carefree DJ Milan, the opportunistic acting star Schontal, and Jule with his hemp farmers, who unexpectedly shine as performance artists. The association for entertainment subordinates everything to success throughout the story, and soon after the first irregularities, all sorts of fraud follow. Béla Rothenbühler convincingly continues the tradition of the rogue novel in his second book - this time featuring female con artists and written in Lucerne dialect. His ironic-satirical thought experiment about culture, entertainment, and money is itself a great work of entertainment art.
