Kodak Slide N Scan Digital Film Scanner

Low-quality Chinese-made equipment, despite the attractive appearance of the camera. When you insert a negative, it doesn't show you the photo on the screen but makes you see the negative in a larger format, despite the fact that in the photos in the article, it shows us a beautiful colour positive photo. For 200 Francs for Chinese equipment it's too expensive and it's useless (always leaving open the possibility that the camera might break down). I'm returning this camera in favour of a more professional one.
Contra
Slides in cardboard frames slip through very easily, slides in plastic frames need to be moved with some pressure. Slides can be positioned well, with the previous and next slide in the right position.
The device needs its own SD card, so pictures cannot be stored directly on the computer. This can be an advantage though, as the SD card can be read on any other computer, not just the one the device is connected to.

This is a relatively cheap, fast and easy to use scanner if you have lots of slides and/or negatives to digitise. Scans look great at 50%, ok at 75% and a bit ropey at 100%, so probably not ideal for prints over about A4 size but perfectly ok for photo albums or books, sharing around or keeping memories. For HiRes or archival scans, I would go towards something like the Plustek OpticFilm 8100 which is significantly better resolution but much slower to use2.

I would never imagine that KODAK would bring such a bed quality equipment.
It is made out of cheap plastic. Not usable for a long time. bad san quality on both Slides and negative films.
I am disappointed that Digitec is selling such poor quality good....

I have scanned 2756 slides from my world trip 2001-2003.
Picture is better than the originals through a slide projector lens.
I haven't yet managed to digitise my slides, which was the aim of my purchase.
