Snow White's mother died at childbirth; her stepmother is a proud, wicked woman. When the talking mirror tells her that Snow White is more beautiful than she is, she orders a huntsman to kill the girl. However, he lets her escape, and she finds a new home with the seven dwarfs. But the evil queen learns of this through her mirror and attempts to kill the girl three times, the third time with a poisoned apple. Now the dwarfs truly believe she is dead and place her in a glass coffin. A passing prince falls in love with Snow White and wants to take her away.
