Product details
Noah Bachofen's recipes are just as much fun for kitchen rookies as they are for ambitious amateur chefs. Although the 50 or so recipes are packed with professional tricks, they can also be easily realised without any significant experience or many appliances. The book contains exactly what Noah likes to eat at home: from whole butter cauliflower to aubergine schnitzel and Ziger dumplings with onion sauce to San Sebastian cheesecake, the simplest cake in the world. Basic preparations such as a strong vegetable stock or different varieties of mayonnaise (for example with basil or nut butter) are of course also included. In addition to the recipes, the book contains a series of tongue-in-cheek stories from Noah's homeland, the canton of Glarus.
Noah Bachofen's aim is to make seemingly simple things really good. And so we follow Noah to his training centre in Elm, where he shows us how to prepare the perfect rösti. Noah cooks with joy, imagination and humour.
