Philips Hue Tap dial switch
Question about Tap dial switch - 621718
Is a bridge absolutely necessary or can the switch also be used with a single Philips Hue White E27 Filament Globe?
No, because Hue lamps and lights can basically be controlled in two ways, via Zigbee (bridge) and Bluetooth.
The Tap Dial Tap does not support Bluetooth, so it does not appear in the app in the Bluetooth system. The switch also has no memory, so where should the configuration be saved? You need a bridge for that.
As far as I know, the Philips Hue White E27 Filament Globe should be Bluetooth-capable, i.e. you could control this bulb via app without a bridge.

As far as I know, the Hue White E27 Filament Globe supports Bluetooth, which means you can also control this light directly via the app and without a bridge.
Bridge is required - always with Philips Hue.
