Tanganyika Buffer™ is a blend of carbonate salts designed to enhance the natural environment of cichlids by increasing alkalinity, carbonate hardness, buffering capacity, and pH levels. It is formulated to maintain a pH of 9.0-9.4. For optimal replication of the Lake Tanganyika environment, it should be used in conjunction with Cichlid Lake Salt™, Cichlid Trace™, and NutriDiet® Cichlid Flakes.
