Gabriel-Glas StandArt
51 cl, 2 Glasses, Red wine glasses, White wine glassesProduct details
The machine-blown and completely lead-free Gabriel "StandArt" glass weighs only 150 grams and is made of high-quality crystal glass in a single process. It is harder, more scratch-resistant, and more break-resistant than lead glass, allowing for dishwasher use, although chlorinated detergents and tabs should be avoided in favor of less aggressive powder. The Gabriel glass is suitable for all wines, as well as champagne, whisky, brandy, port wine, and even top beers. Its detailed design enhances the flavor of simpler wines while preserving the quality of top-quality wines. The flat design of the foot provides a secure footing, and the barely perceptible x-shaped long handle adds a touch of elegance, even when held with all five fingers. The lower part of the goblet, slightly curved outward, ensures that even a small amount of wine fills the entire width of the glass, enhancing the scent. It also maximizes the wine's color density, offering an important visual impression for both wine connoisseurs and occasional drinkers. Although designed for a normal filling quantity, it is equally effective for tasting or rare wines. The 95-millimeter wide decanting effect during pouring allows ample air exposure, promoting the development of various flavors. The almost imperceptibly inward curved goblet shape facilitates optimal upward movement of aromas and bundling of the bouquet. The ideally selected glass opening of 66 millimeters ensures that flavors are neither blocked by a small opening nor lost due to excessive space. Finally, the goblet is wide enough to accommodate the entire nose, enhancing the drinking experience with additional freedom of movement while bringing the bouquet closer before the anticipated sip.
