This is certainly possible with the Nespresso machines but everyone who has commented on the internet claims that there is a lot of coffee flavour left in the water. Tip is to run it once and then pour water. It is certainly not energy efficient. :)

Yes, it works. Tried with Cafe Royal, Real Cafe, Ricklis, Volg, Karoma, Ethical Coffee, M-Budget and others. However, the capsule guide is only made of plastic and could be damaged if the compatible capsules do not fit exactly. It happened to me once with an older Latissima.
