Dominance in the 80 ml class
The Nespresso Vertuo is a worthy successor or successful expansion of the Nespresso capsule system. Operation could hardly be easier: Unpack, set up, fill with water, switch on, wait a few seconds for the machine to heat up, tap to open, insert capsule, tap to close, place cup underneath and press the button to draw.
Depending on the selected coffee type and cup size, the Vertuo runs a suitable extraction program. In addition, there is always the swirl, which ensures the massive crema.
Throughout the entire extraction process, the Vertuo remains pleasantly quiet and fully suitable for office use. It is an eye-catcher in any environment.
The Vertuo shines especially with the 80 ml varieties.
* 40 ml
The small, strong sip after a meal. Pleasant taste, although usually a bit harsh and without the usual silky texture with full body of a real espresso. Drinking standing up is okay!
* 80 ml
The Vertuo King Class. A real cup of coffee that doesn't want to be espresso, but knows it's better than the standard Cafe Creme. Round, strong taste. Please sit down and enjoy!
* 150 ml
The Cafe Creme from Vertuo. Comes directly against the competition of fully automatic machines, can keep up well there, but not really stand out. I would offer guests who do not dare a double espresso.
* 230 ml
Filter coffee with some crema. Accordingly, hardly any body and little texture. The crema looks pretty, but does not last long, which is not surprising. Overall, rather boring coffee and not one for which you should buy the system. Of course, ok if you can fulfill a wish with it guests.
* 414 ml
Filter coffee with very little crema. Very thin and boring. Would I advise against.

unfortunately not recommended
Unfortunately, the Vertuo Next Deluxe Pure Chrome could not convince me.
Visually an eye-catcher, but unfortunately far too many disadvantages.
Better to take the Vertuo Plus. It can also be operated easily with one hand.Pro

New and Great?!
Nesspresso advertises with: "Overwhelming variety of aromas, diverse coffee styles and cup sizes: Vertuo offers the absolute coffee variety! All this with revolutionary machine technology and just the push of a button!"
We have now tried a few coffees in the family. We all found the majority disappointing compared to the ORGINAL COFFEES. They hardly convinced taste to not at all.
An Alto 414 ml, was too watery for us.
A Mug 230 ml, would have been much better as Gran Lungo 150 ml.
The CARAFE POUR-OVER STYLE, lacks information on how intense it should be in taste.
A filter coffee tastes better and has even less sentence.
CONCLUSION: We now need the coffee for cake baking.
Drink our coffee again from the Nespresso Essenza Plus where you can also well bring larger cups underneath and only still let out tea water. However, it is a pity that Nesspresso no longer sells this machine.Pro

Best coffee!
For me, an easy-to-prepare and, above all, strong coffee is important. This is exactly what the Nespresso Vertuo Next fulfills! The selection of Nespresso Vertuo capsules I find sufficient for my circumstances, since I like to drink the coffee short or max. as a small Lungo. I can recommend the machine to anyone who values good coffee and wants easy operation. The design of the machine I find super, this fits into any kitchen and is also not too big.

Absolutely disappointing
I had to send this machine back twice. Approximately after 10 uses a red light would appear and the machine would fail to draw water both times. I am expecting the second replacement around a month after I sent it back. Truly frustrating. I didn't have any problems with the first model of the Vertuo machine.
