Unfortunately, the suction function seems to cause problems for various users
My Roomba never emptied itself. (Dirt always remained in the container) After some searching on the Internet, I discovered various reports of the same problem. Solution: The green rubber flap on the dirt container has to be bent slightly by hand to soften the rubber. (I even removed a small piece of the three "rubber struts" with a knife. I have seen that the struts on the J9+ are slightly thinner. Since then, the Roomba empties just enough.

- After several firmware updates, the suction function has been extended! that's a good thing! (may be even more)

- Wipes badly if it has cat dust.
- Does not drain at all (according to reports, various people have this problem)
- Unfortunately, it still cleans the mop pad even though it has only vacuumed.
- You should always wait until the vacuum cleaner is completely dry after wet mopping! (dirt sticks together)
- It definitely still needs software updates (including the app!!!)
Does the job, but poor service
Despite all the nice comments from iRobot team here, the service never responded. New robot and defective right from the start.
Update: I sent them a new unit and received a used replacement. And guess what, water reading still broken.Pro

- More “intelligent” mopping. Really, for example damping the mop before proceeding.

- Dirty water meter broken and shows 50%, even the tank is empty.
- No way to see real time where the robot has been or what it might have skipped.

Roomba 10 Max - an absolute buy recommendation
The Roomba 10 Max is an absolute recommendation to buy.
We are a 4-person household with an additional 3 pets. There is always something to vacuum and mop. The Roomba does this very neatly and is therefore a real help in the household. Pet hair is also no problem. Thanks to its low height, it can easily get under the sofa for cleaning. If the collection container is full or the mop water container is empty, the Roomba automatically returns to the station and empties or refills the container. Of course, it also does this as soon as cleaning is complete.
The app can be used to control the cleaning process and view the condition of the wearing parts.Pro

Great technology for 2025
The Roomba Combo has replaced a 5-year-old Electrolux Pure i.9.2 in my home. My conclusion: the change was worth it. I let the Combo mop the entire flat once a week, the rest of the week it vacuums the 130 m2 every day. Vacuuming takes almost 9 hours with charging. It completes the vacuuming units in around 4 hours. More time should be allowed for the initial set-up at the beginning, otherwise the obstacle detection will not work and it will drive into everything. The detection is now switched on and the Combo does a great job.
