UniverSUS is not a coating, but an extremely hard component of the pan surface that does not require PFAS or PTFE, can withstand extremely high temperatures and is ideally suited for use in the oven and for cleaning in the dishwasher. With UniverSUS, scratches/damage that render normal coatings unusable are only of an optical nature. At the same time, the special non-stick effect that characterises UniverSUS can be reactivated in a natural way by adding a few drops of oil. Loss, as with conventionally coated pans, is impossible. Last but not least, Astral guarantees the most perfect and crispy frying results you could wish for: The natural surface ensures noticeably better heat conduction.
