I only fill with cold water.

So I always put warm/hot water in the tank. I also use a different cleaning agent (special parquet) which is prohibited according to the manufacturer. I simply clean the appliance thoroughly after each use.

We always add a little warm water to the tank, which makes cleaning even better. I don't know whether the manufacturer allows this.
