This state of the art bottle is capable of self-cleaning. Using environmentally friendly UV-C technology, the bottle can purify up to 99.99% of bacteria and viruses. Ultraviolet light in the C spectrum (UV-C) is a high-energy light with a wavelength of 200-400 nanometres. It works by killing micro-organisms, making them inactive and destroying their DNA so that they can no longer reproduce. The UV-C light neutralizes all harmful bacteria so that the water becomes drinkable. Fill the bottle with water. Unscrew the cap and press it to start cleaning your water. The bottle has two modes, Normal and Adventure. Press the button once for Normal mode or twice for Adventure mode. Normal mode is indicated by a breathing sky-blue light, Adventure mode is indicated by a pulsating blue light. You should shake the bottle lightly during the cleaning cycle to allow the UV light to be evenly distributed in the water. The bottle also cleans itself every 2 hours, with a 10-second cycle to intelligently clean every slit in your bottle. You can turn this function off if you need to store your water bottle by pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds. This will activate the Travel Lock and prevent your bottle from cleaning itself until it is turned on again.
