Reviews & Ratings
- Door sensor included
- good workmanship
- No hardware button
- Account obligation
The market for smart door locks is manageable, but offers a decent selection. None of the devices tested need to hide. Switchbot offers a reasonably priced entry-level product, while Yale offers a functional extension to its comprehensive in-house security system. Why the Tedee is almost twice as expensive is beyond us. Nuki offers the best overall package.
- WLAN built-in
- High-quality and well-made lock
- Quite large and clunky
- somewhat loud during operation
The Linus, named after the inventor of the locking cylinder, is made entirely of metal. It looks high-quality and robust, but also bulky. When you turn it, it grips hard and also sounds a little louder. WLAN is built in for remote access, and Yale supplies an NFC tag for quick opening by placing your mobile on the door.
