Question about Bosch Professional GSR 18V-21

I ordered this drill screwdriver on 23.12.21. Then I charged the battery for the first time on 22.01.22. After charging for about 2 hours, the charger went off with a loud bang. Today I received a replacement device under guarantee, which showed exactly the same behaviour......after approx. 2 hours of charging, there was another bang and the charger was defective again. Has anyone else had such problems? Possibly a production error?

Yep, exactly the same for me! Didn't hear a bang, but there was smoke coming from the charger. Unfortunately out of warranty, Bosch want 50 CHF fprs to send back without repair or 100 for repair, but a new one costs 30 CHF!!! BOSCH is not quality, it's a headache. My next cordless screwdriver will be from Lidel, 35 CHF, hurts less when broken and gets the job done.
BOSCH shame on you for your so-called quality!

I haven't had any problems so far and the charging process went without a hitch.
