The pull-along toy from the Carl Larsson collection is recommended for children who have just learnt to walk and like to go out and about with their little friend. The little horse with a long pull string also has a tail made of strings, which invites little fingers to play lively games. The colours of this wooden horse are inspired by the interior of Karin and Carls Larsson's home. The combination of soft pink and fresh green was very popular in England at the end of the 19th century, and as Karin's sister lived in London at the time, she inspired Karin to paint some of the walls and mouldings in these shades. In Carl's famous painting "The Flower Window", for example, this colour combination is clearly visible.
