The company SAME (Società Accomandita Motori Endotermici) was founded in 1942 by brothers Francesco and Eugenio Cassani in Treviglio, Northern Italy. Today, SAME is part of the SDF Group, which also includes well-known brands such as Deutz-Fahr, Lamborghini, Hürlimann, and Grégoire. In the mid-1960s, in July 1965, SAME introduced the Same Dinosauro V8, a truly heavyweight high-performance tractor equipped with a nearly 10-liter, 160-horsepower V8 engine. According to unconfirmed reports, only 10 units of the Dinosauro V8 were produced.
