As already mentioned, it feels more like metal and plastic. The device fits very well in the hand and does its job perfectly. Would buy it again :-).

Partly, partly. The lower half is made of metal, the upper half is made of plastic. Everything looks like metal. I've only just realised that. Despite the plastic part, the device feels good and heavy in the hand.
