Because reliable UV protection for the skin is indispensable in summer, Stiftung Warentest tests sunscreen products every year - sun creams, lotions and sprays from cheap to expensive, from pharmacies, supermarkets and drugstores as well as from discounters. This year's test: sunscreens with high and very high protection factors (30, 50 and 50+). Almost all of the 19 products are convincing - but the most expensive one fails (prices: 1.17 to 21.20 euros per 100 millilitres).
