Test Report

12 WLAN amplifier 09/2018

Jerky videos in the attic, no Spotify in the hobby cellar: Wireless holes in the home WLAN are annoying. Three different technologies promise a remedy. We have compared three systems: WLAN repeaters, mesh systems and powerline adapters with WLAN. The pleasing result: there is a lot to be said for the most favourable solution. For our 250 square metre sample flat, 67 to 250 euros were due, depending on the system. Of twelve systems in the test, two performed well, one was only sufficient, the rest satisfactory.
