COMPARISON TEST - 11 stand mixers
Whether it's a sweet smoothie, a dip bursting with flavour (hummus, guacamole, salsa, etc.), a protein-rich, wonderfully viscous shake or perhaps a soup that is completely uniform in texture: With a stand mixer, all this and much more can be made - in just a few minutes, thanks to the motor at work in one and the hastily rotating blades. Stand mixers have always been true all-rounders, which can be used in a variety of ways and thus and thus relieve you of a lot of work: In the meantime, the technology in many of them is of such a high quality that they can be used for more demanding tasks, such as spices, without having to worry about too much wear and tear on the material. This time we tested 11 stand mixers (€min - €max: 24.54 - 298.50 €) and had them process all kinds of different foods to find out whether and how they really get along with such foods, i.e. where their strengths and weaknesses are rooted in practice.
